A bouquet of springtime

A Bouquet of Springtime

I painted this piece with a question in mind: What if springtime were a bouquet, overflowing with life, with light, with wonder.... and with whimsy? What if you could hold it in your hands, and carry it with you, bringing life and colour and refreshing everywhere you went?

The little figure came to me almost unannounced—this childlike spirit of Spring, gently but joyfully releasing the energy of life, a realm where spring is not just a season, but a living, breathing presence delighting in the richness and beauty of life...

I love that tension between the cascade of colour and joy—that whimsical symphony of vivid greens mingling with vibrant violets, deep blues, and luminous whites which spill upwards and outwardsand the primordial background of cracked earthen textures and ancient forms. To me, this composition expresses the wild spontaneity of new life, the juxtaposition of each new season against the backdrop of time.

I hope that whoever falls in love with it will see not merely a visual feast, but a conversation between groundedness and flight, restraint and imagination, resilience and innocence. Or simply enjoy this celebration of life, renewal, and the freedom to let ourselves imagine.
